Medicare Open Enrollment Informational Session
When: Sunday October 8th from 4:00-6:00pm

Your health needs change from year to year, and your health plan may change its benefits and costs each year too. That's why it’s important to review your Medicare choices each fall. Compare your current plan to new options and see if you can lower your costs or find a plan better suited to your needs. Open Enrollment is the one time of year when Medicare beneficiaries can see what new benefits options Medicare has to offer and make changes to their coverage.

It’s worth it to take the time to review and compare your Medicare coverage options, but you don’t have to do it alone! On Sunday October 8th from 5:00 to 6:00pm, Asti's Pharmacy will be hosting a free educational session on Open Enrollment for Medicare. We will be highlighting the importance of selecting the right Medicare coverage plan, as well as answering any questions you may have. Following this session we will be offering private sessions with our Pharmacists later in the week where we can review your current medications in order to help you enroll.

Open Enrollment for Medicare begins October 15th and lasts until December 7th, 2017.

International Overdose Awareness Day - Thursday August 31st, 2017

International Overdose Awareness Day  aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have met with death or permanent injury as a result of drug overdose. Overdose Awareness Day spreads the message that the tragedy of overdose death is preventable.

Join us in the pharmacy on Thursday August 31st where we at Astis will be wearing silver to perpetuate the message that a human being has infinite value which nullifies presumption, prejudice and stigma towards people who use drugs- misuse drugs and may sometimes abuse drugs - and at the same time promote overdose prevention through the accessibility to naloxone. Customers can help by purchasing a silver badge or wristband in-store with a donation of $1 or more.
